Lynnfield Rail Trail
The Town of Wakefield has their own FaceBook site for the Wakefield- Lynnfield Rail Trail project. They do not maintain any other website.
Although this project is a joint effort between the 2 towns, each has separate issues that only the individual town must deliberate . A few of these are-
1. Take a lease with the MBTA for the section of railbed in the respective town. Town meeting vote is required.
2. Parking allocated for the Rail Trail.
3. Screening for abutters.
4. Trail amenities.
